Callie Rowan

I fix other people’s commas for a living, which means I spend all day reading and most of the night wanting to write something with more kissing in it. I grew up on a dairy farm outside St. Albans, moved to Burlington for college and never left, mostly because of the lake. My books are set in the Vermont I know: sugarhouses in March, bookshops with creaky floors, town meeting arguments and roads that close the minute it snows. My heroines have opinions and my heroes own flannel for practical reasons. I live in a second-floor apartment on North Street with too many plants and a cat named Semicolon.
